Financial Analyst - Renewable Energy project experienced required



The Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the financial planning, analysis, and reporting for our renewable energy projects and investments. Key Responsibilities:


Financial Modelling: Develop and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate the feasibility and profitability of renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and energy storage initiatives.
Investment Analysis: Conduct financial due diligence for potential investments, including assessing risk, return, and impact factors. Provide recommendations and insights to support decision-making.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the creation and management of project budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. Monitor project performance and identify areas for optimization.
Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret financial data, market trends, and industry benchmarks to support strategic decision-making and improve financial performance.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, variance analysis, and performance metrics to management and key stakeholders. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Sustainability Metrics: Collaborate with sustainability teams to assess and report on the environmental and social impact of renewable energy projects.
Risk Management: Identify and assess financial risks associated with renewable energy investments and develop risk mitigation strategies.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, project developers, and external partners to provide financial insights and support project development.


Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. MBA or CFA is a plus.
5+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in the renewable energy, energy, or infrastructure sector.
Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, with the ability to use tools like Microsoft Excel and financial software.
Knowledge of renewable energy markets and industry trends.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
Experience in project finance, financial planning, and budgeting.
Knowledge of sustainability and environmental impact reporting is a plus.
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and meet deadlines.
